Vision

The Robotics Computing Program at the Faculty of Computers and Information Sciences, Ain Shams University, aims to become a leading educational and research program that has a prominent role in preparing cadres capable of meeting the needs of the labor market in the field of smart robotics at the local, regional and global levels.

Mission

The Robotics Computing program aims to prepare professional graduates in the fields of artificial intelligence and its applications in robotics for the benefit of society. The program offers graduates the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of all the science behind robotic intelligence, including all principles, techniques, theories, and practices of robotics programming and computing. The program aims to bring up qualified and well-educated graduates familiar with the programming of all intelligent devices that can simulate humans as well as an understanding of robotic machines as an integrated computer system operating in real time.

Aims

• Graduate qualified and well-educated students who are knowledgeable in the hardware and software of the different robotic systems.
• Help students will be able to put theoretical knowledge into practice for producing large-scale intelligent software applications.
• Provides students with the fundamentals of creating and programming a robot that can intelligently interact with the different operating environments and perform the basic tasks involving navigation and decision-making.
